忘れたころのNew York City Marathon　2014 Part5

スタート地点、 前日に雨がふったためにとにかく寒い
風をさえぎるものがないためにとにかく寒い

wave1のスタートまでの約3時間は寒さとの闘い！！


余談ですが前日にこんなメールが届いてました。

Important Message Regarding High Winds

Due to high winds, we are reducing the amount of tenting, 

directional signage, and other structures at the marathon 

staging areas at the start, along the course, and at the finish. 

Personnel will be on hand to assist with directions.

All runners should dress appropriately for the cold and windy weather. 

All official marathon transportation remains as scheduled.

上に羽織るものは、スタート地点で回収されて寄付されます。
スタート地点には、衣類が山になっておりました。




スタート地点の注意点は、Corral TimeLineもチェックが必要でした。
スタート時間はチェックしますが、集合時間までチャックせずに
ちょっとCorralの中に入れないというトラブルがありました。
自分だけが失敗しているわけじゃなく、多くの人が同じことを
していたためにスタート前に入ることができましたけどね！！
